I was pretty bored so I experimented the picture using Photoshop. Playing around with few filters and effects, and applied to it and.. TADA ~ ! Quite surprised because I made it while my brain was half-empty.

During the Earth Hour, lemme recall back what I did. I switched off all switches at 8PM (one hour advanced), just let my laptop powered by battery. I even turned my 19″ LCD monitor off. Opened windows widely. So, the only light source was from my laptop monitor. Watching news, in the same time, playing Habbo. Just wanted to test the thing out. Guess I was just totally bored that time. Haha.. Got few friends from Phillipines, Japan, USA (moved from Italy) as well locals (one of them could speak Japanese). The local guy, Japanese (a lady) and I were the only persons who could talk in Japanese in the room. The rest were full of questions what we were talking about. Some of them were quite rude. It was quite fun actually. So, I joined the room for almost an hour. Before the Earth hour ended, I started to get eye-strain. I’m not used to staring at monitor in the dark place.

I wanted to take picture of these guys playing cricket but I was quite slothful that time, so instead, I just shot it from my room. It seemed like it was a competition ‘coz normally, there wouldn’t be many spectators.

I’ve never seen cricket game anywhere in Malaysia LIVE. So, that was a perfect time to have a record that I’ve already seen now.

What did you do while people was counting-down before 12AM?
Sleeping after 4-hour-non-stop of dosing myself with GoW2.

What did you do first thing in the morning on First Jan?
Took my shower, helped my mom and then, off to KLCC to buy several Japanese books (oh yeah, as an Isetan member, I got 5% off for purchasing 2 Japanese books) and gaming magazine, window-shopping for games, dresses and presents for my nieces. Next target: Sylvanian Families.

What’s next after GoW2?
The Last Remnant, Rayman Raving Rabbids or Ninja Blade (not out yet). I’ve been wondering, I can’t find The Darkness game here in Malaysia. Been searching for it for months. Whenever I asked, they’ll gimme the same response; “The Darkness? What’s that?” Is it banned here in Malaysia?, because the censorship laws in S’pore has banned that game. Haa.. Now I see why.. FYI, GoW is banned in Germany.

[ UPDATED: 2009年1月26日 ] Finished the GoW2 game within 8 hours (sh****) *sighs* Few days left before I leave the company for 4 months (continue working here after I grad. Hehe.. ) My job on the project’s almost done. Now moving to Quality Control and tidy-ing the code. Hopefully, after this can hand-over the project and start getting dirty with the hospital project which is quite huge.  We’re currently looking for programming freaks (I  mean, someone who really enjoys doing programming), since we don’t have enough hands to handle all projects ourselves.

After SPM, I received at least 3 offers; from UiTM, Matriculation (Science) and MMU. I opted for MMU because I wanted to be in different environment, even though I was offered with the most-wanted course (Chemical Engineering). The way I think was totally changed when I was studying at MMU Melaka. I always wanted to continue my study in Master right after I finish my Degree.

But now, there’s no escaping the fact that…… I FEEL LIKE TO DROP OUT OF MY ACADEMIC STUDIES ! There’s no point in denying that I love academic studies but the thing is, I don’t want to study 24-7. Everything I learn is entirely theoretically, only (roughly) 20% is practical. I love to do simulations, experiment things in real-time, not just read, read, read till your head cannot absorb it anymore. I don’t want it to be my full-time job or even hobby. I hate to memorize weird terms. I want to do many things. I mean, MANY OTHER THINGS WITHOUT LIMITATION. I feel like being confined in a huge window-less mansion. Frankly, I don’t like exam-oriented education. I mean, what’s the point of studying when all you need to pass the exam is by memorizing and then forget it once the exam is over? Even I can beat student whose CGPA is higher than mine (yeah, I did this many, many times. I really like it :yes: ). I’m more alive when I can do other things besides studying.I think I have argued about this with a lecturer or two before, as well as with my fellow friends. Don’t remember. So, what’s the point of having high CGPA if you don’t really know what you’ve been studying? What’s the point of having high CGPA when what you do is to remember and then you don’t really know how to use/ apply it when you become what you want to be? Most of answers I received don’t really please me.

With this, I’d like to declare that I might not be able to post frequently (once a week or perhaps not at all) blog due to countless reasons. Just kidding. I’ll be undergoing industrial training for 12 weeks starting a week after the Raya. But, I might be back to Cyberjaya every weekend for a reason.

I think, I’m moving out next sem. I’ve had enough with hostel. This and that, everything must be followed or you’ll be fined RM100++. Stew-pid.. I’m thinking of renting a masterbed room- ALONE. Surely my dad will slay me like a cow to be slaughtered for dinner. :sick:

I passed 3 mid-term tests (result for the other test is not up yet). Feel quite restful.. :zzz:

UPDATE: I’m staying at Cyberia next sem in a masterbed room, most likely ALONE and my parents have just given me an approval ! YEAY ~ ! :))

Translation: 「よい一日をね」 or “yoi ichinichi wo ne” means “have a nice day, ok!”

I ‘locked’ myself in the room for 3 hours and 30 minutes without doing anything (but except for eating a ‘chouquette’ and drinking iced milo). :sick: Now I really want to sleep.. :zzz: .. but I can’t. :( That pixel was supposed to be a rabbit, and not panda as you can see. I was like having a very bad time pixeling pixel by pixel just for the rabbit ears, so I changed it to panda. Can you see anything weird on that panda?  :-s

Yups, I’m re-designing my blog again soon. The current theme seems dull to me, don’t you think? Moreover, it takes a lot of bandwidth and spaces. >_< ;;; I’m currently working on the new design. Hopefully I can get it done by this Thursday (I’ve got test on Tuesday T_T)

the image is supposed to be displayed 2 days ago but i was pretty busy but it’s not late yet, i suppose. haha.. so.. how was my raya? herm.. for me, everything was the same like other normal days. i celebrated it in KL, my home-sweet-hometown where i was born and grew up. and the spirit of celebrating the day is like.. casual. i’m going for a vacation before the school up. can’t wait for that..

open house?! my house is always opened. it’s not an annual tradition for me. but with one difference from past years. this year of 2005, everybody is invited to come over. BUT WITH ONE CIRCUMSTANCE.. i will not tell you my home address. if you know the location, just call me to make reservation of my time. if i approve it, just knock the door. if not, say bye-bye! i’m pretty busy lately with my stuffs. therefore, only particular people can come over my house. miah haha.. miki is always cruel, don’t you know?!

This I made out of the blue.

Before that, I was attempted to sleep but I could barely sleep. Therefore I turned my PC on again. At the first stage, I wanted to design a layout for new page that would be coming soon.^^ But my mind was a desert that time. So, I browsed some websites that in my thinking hopefully an idea will come. But nothing did come. I got so bored.

So.. *walla* I made in about 1 hour and a half. *grins*
