MMU Awards and Weeeee..!

May 3, 2009 11:28AM

The event was held last weekend but the internet connection here has been quite unacceptable for the past few days. Maybe has been a week. Just for this event, I spent hundreds for a black dress. Like Iss, I almost regret. :dotdotdot:

Yesterday, I tested out Key’s Nintendo Wii. He bought a faulty Call of Duty: World at War and Tomb Raider: Underworld games. Since we couldn’t play CoD, we played few games like Wii SportsNFS Prostreet and Wario Land: Shake It!. I might not be into kids games but just gave it a shot. At first, I started to get excited with the controller. Swing the remote like a real tennis racket, punch like you really want to punch someone. It was great. But after 2 hours, I started to get tired. 1 hour later, I burnt out. I never get this tired when playing xbox 360 for more than 5 hours. Of all games I played, I think I got hooked with Wario Land and Nintendo Wii Tennis (though I’m very, very, very bad at kids or any casual games). Oh yeah, Key. My entire body got sore when I woke up. But it doesn’t mean I’m gonna raise the white flag. :peace:

I don’t feel to talk a lot right now. I really want to turn my brain off for a long period of time. It’s been a rough week. So, the pictures will do the talk most of the time. :dotdotdot:

What did you do while people was counting-down before 12AM?
Sleeping after 4-hour-non-stop of dosing myself with GoW2. :hand:

What did you do first thing in the morning on First Jan?
Took my shower, helped my mom and then, off to KLCC to buy several Japanese books (oh yeah, as an Isetan member, I got 5% off for purchasing 2 Japanese books) and gaming magazine, window-shopping for games, dresses and presents for my nieces. Next target: Sylvanian Families.

What’s next after GoW2?
The Last Remnant, Rayman Raving Rabbids or Ninja Blade (not out yet). I’ve been wondering, I can’t find The Darkness game here in Malaysia. Been searching for it for months. Whenever I asked, they’ll gimme the same response; “The Darkness? What’s that?” Is it banned here in Malaysia?, because the censorship laws in S’pore has banned that game. Haa.. Now I see why.. FYI, GoW is banned in Germany.

Will post some pictures next time. Lost the reader again. :sob:

[ UPDATED: 2009年1月26日 ] Finished the GoW2 game within 8 hours (sh****) *sighs* Few days left before I leave the company for 4 months (continue working here after I grad. Hehe.. :ok: ) My job on the project’s almost done. Now moving to Quality Control and tidy-ing the code. :blushes: Hopefully, after this can hand-over the project and start getting dirty with the hospital project which is quite huge.  We’re currently looking for programming freaks (I  mean, someone who really enjoys doing programming), since we don’t have enough hands to handle all projects ourselves. :ok:

Miki did okay, too.

Listening to : .977 Music Network

Currently Playing : The Legend of Spyro: Dawn of the Dragon, Lego Indiana Jones: The Original Adventures, Gears of War 2, Lost Planet: Extreme Condition

My job on the project is almost done. Might be moving to the other one (hospital project) and hand the current one over to new guys. I don’t like to get stuck in the same thing. But, who knows. It might happen.

The last time I bought shoes (that last very long, some of them more than 3 years.) was 2 years ago. I think I didn’t post any pictures of it but you can view it here. It’s original price was USD65 (count the conversion yourself). It’s a great shoes I’m telling you. Very comfy. And, it also made a huge hole in my pocket. Very huge one. I think even bigger than the hole in Earth’s Solar Shield. But it’s worth to buy. I prefer this brand than Hush Puppies, to be honest. Last time I bought Hush Puppies, it merely caused my heels to crack. After I bought the Easy Spirit Travelwalk shoes, the cracked heels were gone. I never used any crack-heels cream (some of ‘em are fricking lies).

My MYR50 boots are getting worse and I’ve just used it less than a year. The shoe soles even merely cracked. I only wear it to go to work. I mean, very formal occasions la. So, from now and onwards, no more cheap goods. Almost everything I bought for fricking cheap prices doesn’t last long. Now, I’m sticking with Malay’s words of wisdom………………………… :dotdotdot: Don’t remember. :blushes:

Few weeks ago, I went to Isetan to buy a new one. Most of boots sold there weren’t suitable ones. Got buckles here and there. So.. funky. Then, I went to Metrojaya. I saw Santa Barbara’s MYR200 boots (it’s the price before the Mega Sale season). Very good one but.. it’s not really that comfy. It’s Mega Sale season now (very MEGA one, maybe TERA is the suitable one), so before it comes to an end, I’ll one day hunt for one. This one is my target. Or, maybe this one, or this one. I prefer a high-heels, but since I’ve to rush here and there, the low-heels are much better. That’s why the comfy ones are preferable. Of course, if you want something very good, you have to pay the price la. So, plan carefully before you buy.

Talking about rushing. I’m buying my very FIRST car. It’s a long-term investment. Like any other properties I have that last long (e.g. my cellphones, laptop-bags, shoes, dresses, laptop, desktop computers etc). For sure, won’t be any of Perodua cars (except for Nautica probably). I’ll get someone (I know who’s that “someone” will be.) to go for car-window-shopping or car-hunting one day. So, stay tuned. :evilish:

p/s: When I say “last long”, it means more than 2-3 years.

UPDATE 2008/12/26 : Going to survey for PS3 this evening. If the price if fricking low, I might consider to buy one :evilish: . If it’s mod-able, heh.. I’ve been waiting to get one for the past 2-3 years. Game price wasn’t an issue. The price of the console wasn’t fricking expensive (still affordable). On my second thought, would I buy BD movies in the near future if I buy PS3? I have XBox360 and it’s still fine.
