The event was held last weekend but the internet connection here has been quite unacceptable for the past few days. Maybe has been a week. Just for this event, I spent hundreds for a black dress. Like Iss, I almost regret.

Yesterday, I tested out Key’s Nintendo Wii. He bought a faulty Call of Duty: World at War and Tomb Raider: Underworld games. Since we couldn’t play CoD, we played few games like Wii Sports,  NFS Prostreet and Wario Land: Shake It!. I might not be into kids games but just gave it a shot. At first, I started to get excited with the controller. Swing the remote like a real tennis racket, punch like you really want to punch someone. It was great. But after 2 hours, I started to get tired. 1 hour later, I burnt out. I never get this tired when playing xbox 360 for more than 5 hours. Of all games I played, I think I got hooked with Wario Land and Nintendo Wii Tennis (though I’m very, very, very bad at kids or any casual games). Oh yeah, Key. My entire body got sore when I woke up. But it doesn’t mean I’m gonna raise the white flag.

I was pretty bored so I experimented the picture using Photoshop. Playing around with few filters and effects, and applied to it and.. TADA ~ ! Quite surprised because I made it while my brain was half-empty.

During the Earth Hour, lemme recall back what I did. I switched off all switches at 8PM (one hour advanced), just let my laptop powered by battery. I even turned my 19″ LCD monitor off. Opened windows widely. So, the only light source was from my laptop monitor. Watching news, in the same time, playing Habbo. Just wanted to test the thing out. Guess I was just totally bored that time. Haha.. Got few friends from Phillipines, Japan, USA (moved from Italy) as well locals (one of them could speak Japanese). The local guy, Japanese (a lady) and I were the only persons who could talk in Japanese in the room. The rest were full of questions what we were talking about. Some of them were quite rude. It was quite fun actually. So, I joined the room for almost an hour. Before the Earth hour ended, I started to get eye-strain. I’m not used to staring at monitor in the dark place.

I wanted to take picture of these guys playing cricket but I was quite slothful that time, so instead, I just shot it from my room. It seemed like it was a competition ‘coz normally, there wouldn’t be many spectators.

I have a long wish-list of after-my-graduation life. About to show here are the most important ones. I bet most final year students have at least 1, right? *winks*
First AND A MUST. Trip to Tokyo or Osaka, Japan for at least 5 days (Original plan was a 1-month trip. I made a promise to my lecturer to pay him visit. I still keep his home address. I hope I’d bump into Fukuyama Masaharu. Kya~!)
Second. Get myself HD-ready LCD TV
Third. Rent a room/ house (optional)
Fourth. My own business (excessively long way to go)
Fifth. Transform my big room into a recreation-plus-library room. Nyah hahaha..~

Besides the excitement of getting out of study and exam life, I’m pretty sure I’d miss my life in campus. Hey, I’ve been in MMU for 6 years and I’ve gone through many awful as well as awesome experiences within that period. I’ll summarize my 6-year experience in my next post. Sometimes it’s good if we could reminisce what we’ve done in the past. Among things I’d miss the most are..
First. Total FREEDOM! Means, if I feel not to do anything, say study, I’d just lay in my bed and sleep or turn on TV and watch for, say, 5 hours non-stop. But once you get into working life, you won’t get those freedom anymore. Unless you want to settle down after you grad la. Huhu..
Second. The satisfaction feeling if you can beat 4-A students. I’ve done that A LOT and it’s like an ecstasy to me now.
Third. It’s good to be a leecher. Hoho..!
Fourth. Get to know new lecturers, especially foreign lecturers.
Fifth. MMU’s library. It’s been my No. 1 source for almost everything.

Another thing I’m addicted to right now; One Love by Arashi. If you know the meaning of the song, you’ll know why I *hearts* that song.

ええと。。The registration week (or days) is finally here! I joined three clubs basically; Game Developers’ Club (it’s a MUST), Fencing Club (pretty new to this club but I will give a try) and Japanese Cultural Society (joined for the second times. Haha..). The fencing class will start tonite at 7.30PM and I will show up of course. At least I have a partner there. :D

The lecturer has already assigned students with assignment and I’ll do everything in Flash, ActionScript, PHP/XHTML and CSS. The video and audio will be manipulated using Sony’s softwares and erm.. what else? The coding part I will entirely type using Notepad2. The most important part is.. 2 PEOPLE IN A GROUP IS MORE THAN ENOUGH! Muah hahahaha..! The pre-production stage is not started yet. Need to decide what kind of company we want to ‘establish’.  :))  :sick:

How and why it was happened? I have no idea. Yesterday while I was on my way to my class, two guys were fighting and a MMU staff trying to stop them. Huhu.. At the first place, I thought they were only fooling around but after a long observation (actually for 5 seconds), I realized that it was a real fight. I wanted to record it but it wasn’t a nice show to watch again *sigh*

Today I’m going back to KL with Helmy and Nalique. Hopefully.. New layout again and this time.. Hehe.. Simple and heh.. easy to manage is all I need :) I’m not feeling very well today and I just got not-so-serious flu as the result of lack of sleep. I will sleep later afterwards.

Actually I was supposed to post this picture together with the previous post entitled “Pudding or Custard ?” but … I encountered some minor problems that brought me to laziness *grins* The preceding pictures were taken in the Faculty of Creative Multimedia (or FCM in short) building after watching the wushu society practising. I was kinda attracted to join Taekwondo.. nevertheless, I was afraid my bone would be broken.. *big grins*

My dinner on last June 22nd. It’s ‘Chips Kebab’ and was bought from an arabic stall at HB4 (my block) It tasted good.

Hehe… I didn’t know MMU has kindergarten or nursery but these kids wore shirts with MMU logo printed on it. Hehe.. I capture their picture yesterday afternoon when I was on the way to the library with Helmy. They’re sooooooooooo adorable… *hearts*

Last but not least is this picture. I promised to Kamal to post this picture so.. Heh..Captured when I was chatting with my friends. Heh.. I should not do this as it might re-boot my computer frequently. My pc is getting older by day and I’ve just got to buy a notebook. To be frank, I’m getting tired, sick of it. It slows down everything and I’m not able to do multi-tasking. To avoid from being re-booted, I need to close any programs. Huh… Can’t wait for the day I go to Low Yat plaza and buy a notebook… *smiles* I’M GOING BACK TO KL !!! *screams* I’m quite sleepy at the moment.. so just ignore the typo-error. I didn’t have enough sleep for nearly 3 days and this weekend will be my sweet revenge. Breaking the record of 13-hour of sleeping is all I want to do this weekend :P

The napolitana spaghetti was my dinner on last Sunday and the bolognaise was yesterday. Huhu.. Yummy.. But some exception to the napolitana. There’re shiitake mushrooms and green capsicums and that tasted not good.

I read it for you. Hehe.. The title is ” How To Recycle a Game Developer ?”There are 3 recycle bins. The most left-hand side stated as “GAME PROGRAMMER: in the white Bin”. The middle one: “GAME ARTIST: in the gray bin” while the most right-hand side: “GAME DESIGNER: in the dark gray bin”

The title is “FIGHT FOR GENDER EQUITY”. It says “MAJORITY GAME DEVELOPERS are MALE. Therefore, the GAME INDUSTRY is overly INFLUENCED by the NEEDS and WANTS of recognized MALE DEMOGRAPHIC” Aren’t they imaginative ? Huhu..

Helmy said last nite this is custard but this evening, I asked the girl (salesgirl) she said this is pudding. But the dessert tastes sooooooooooooo good ! And till now I got confused. What is the real price of the dessert?? RM2 or RM2.20 ?? Last nite, I paid RM2.20 but this evening was RM2 only… *sigh*

Aiyo.. my space was pretty messy. Papers everywhere. Haish.. That’s my 8-Port 10/100M Ethernet Mini Switch I bought at Plaza Imbi last week on Thursday. 8 ports but currently only 3 ports are used. The first port is connected to my PC. The second one is connected to the network while the fourth is to my room-mate’s PC. Huhu..

Having my lunch at Cafe Tau was a pleasure. The foods taste great and superb but the downside is their iced milo. Too sugary that made me dizzy for minutes. I love their foods. Kinda unbelieveable. Oishii ne.. ^^
