The yummy-iest honey sotong
After I came back from Melaka, my life had been quite overloaded. I think it was the torture I needed to endure for escaping from works for the entire weekend.
I had a test last Tuesday at night. I wasn’t aware about it until last Monday. Luckily, it wasn’t really tough. Right away after the test, my group had a 2-hour discussion about our mock meeting which were held the next day in the afternoon. We discussed on what topic we should talk about during the mock meeting.

At 3.15PM, my friend from Muar, Mike picked me up and we went to 1 Utama. He wanted to go to Times Square in the first place. But then I told him about this peranakan restaurant in 1 Utama. He changed his mind and we went to 1 Utama.
First, lemme tell you. I went to this restaurant, called ‘Restoran Peranakan Place‘, for the first time with my bosses and colleague for lunch. I didn’t post anything about this restaurant last time because I left my cellphone in the office. This peranakan restaurant is one of my Number-1 restaurants in Malaysia.
At the Information Centre, I found something interesting, so I just took it. It looked like a small magazine, actually it wasn’t a magazine. That small magazine called ’Durian Navi’ and it was in Japanese. One of the articles in the magazine talked about a restaurant in Bali, Indonesia. The restaurant’s sign board had a picture of suckling pig on it and at the bottom, I noticed something that made me burst into laughter; Babi Guling. We (especially me) laughed like idiots.

So, Mike and I straight away went to this restaurant as I was starving that time. I ordered Laksa Peranakan, Cendol, Chinese Tea and the most seductive side meal at this restaurant, Honey Sotong. Mike only ordered Baba Platters and Teh o’ Ais. His meal included Ayam Pong Teh. Luckily he ordered that because I’d been wondering what Ayam Pong Teh since I went to the peranakan restaurant in Melaka. People might ask me, “Just order lor if you really wanna know.” FYI, I don’t really like to eat chicken and cow meat. Except for special circumstances. *grins* I tried Mike’s Ayam Pong Teh (the skin part only). Not bad la.

[ Introduce, the inescapable Honey Sotong ~ !

Tada~! I managed to make Mike hooked to the squid. Wah hahahaha..!

[ Muoh hohoho..! I know it's kinda blur..

After I finished my laksa, the waitress brought my Cendol. This cendol is the best cendol in Klang Valley. But it still can’t surpass the ones in Jonker Street, Melaka.

[ Cendol. It's a MUST !
]
Warning: In the cendol picture above, the yellowish drink isn’t beer. It’s Chinese Tea.
I had a very tough time to eat the final piece of the sotong. Mike was full, so he couldn’t eat the last piece. I got hiccups after that.
We then walked around the complex for roughly 3 hours. At 9PM, we watched Love Matters, a Singaporean movie. That was my second time watching it in 1 week. Nyah hahaha~ I admit that the movie wasn’t bad at all. That’s why I didn’t mind watch it for the second time. It was really hillarious. Mike also said the movie was worth to watch. I don’t want to be a spoiler here. If you want to know how good or bad the movie is, watch yourself.
After the movie, we went to Oldtown Kopitiam in Damansara and then we went back home at 12.30AM.
p/s.. Since when I started to like Taiwanese Fahrenheit?
