2nd Penang Trip

It’s been more than a month since my last post. Been busy with one-day trip to Penang, final exams, lalala with friends before saying byebye to them, works, planning…….. etc. It’ll take one whole day to list everything down now.

Right now, I’m in Penang for another trip. This trip is a little bit special ‘coz I have time to walk along the beach, chit-chat with the anglers around there, go for shopping-spree at Gurney Plaza twice (ngeh hehehe..) etc. But at night, I can’t clear off my mind from my works. I reached here yesterday morning. Here, I stayed at The Northam All Suite Hotel. Really like my suite.

Yesterday, around 2PM, I walked from the hotel to Gurney Plaza. I was really bored so I had no choice. Before I came here, I didn’t know that the taxi driver here were soooo bloody blood. sucker. Before I took a cab, I asked the taxi fare from the hotel to the Gurney Plaza. The taxi driver said “RM8″. OMG.. Got no choice so I walked which took about 30min to reach my destination. I spent my day there about 3-4 hours before I went out taking a walk along the Gurney Drive again.

This afternoon, I had lunch with my colleagues/ bosses and the hospital team at Victoria Station, Bayan Lepas. Didn’t have time to take pictures.

I will be going back to KL tomorrow morning at 9AM. Gonna miss my suite. I think I will consider to stay here again if I plan to have holiday in Penang. For me, it’s a great place actually. Not far from the beach, the shopping mall is still within walking distance, greeneries everywhere, nice people, not so isolated etc. There’re few things I don’t like: very hard to get bus here at this hotel, and taxis don’t use meter system.  Yeah.. I really enjoy my trip here.
